SmartList Builder gives you access to all the information that you capture within Great Plains. Creating your own SmartList objects allows you to make better decisions by providing the information that you need to view, analyze and export.

SmartLists is one of the most popular tools with Great Plains customers around the world. With SmartList Builder there is no data within your Great Plains database that you can not access via SmartLists. From April 2005 Microsft Business Solutions have signed an OEM agreement to distribute SmartList Builder for V8.0+ of Great Plains. All orders for SmartList Builder for V8.0+ will need to be processed

Easy Information Sharing
Create new SmartList objects by linking up to 32 tables, including those from third-party vendors. You are able to combine information from work, open and history files. Import and export SmartList objects via XML to share across databases and companies.

Real-time Data Manipulation
Create calculated fields for SmartLists to analyze profits, calculate commissions and more. View summary information such as sum, count, minimum or maximum. Add fixed restrictions to your SmartList. Create SmartList objects from SQL views.

Full Formatting Control
Display string fields as phone numbers, ZIP codes, scoial security numbers, or any other format you specify. Select the number ofdecimal places and display options for numeric fields. Display dates in multiple formats. Select fields to display by default, or specify what fields you want to hide.

Integrated Intelligence
See only the information you need, displayed as you like. Add restrictions to show only specified records. Control the display of numbers, formatting them as negative values based upon the value of another field. Display the number of decimal places based on the value of another field. Display the notes attached ot the records displayed.
