Flexicoder

Flexicoder is a Microsoft Great Plains add-on that automatically recodes General Ledger distributions within the Sales Order Processing, Receivables Management and Returns Management modules. Flexicoder is the perfect solution for large distribution firms with a complex General Ledger structure.

Flexicoder recodes by changing the account segments of distributions. The account segment is changed based on properties of the document. All distributions can be recoded.

You can recode invoices and returns within Sales Order Processing and all document types in the Receivables Management module.

Flexicoders Chart Generator
From Dynamics GP V10, the Chart Generator tool has been included within the Flexicoder product.
To create a new chart of accounts, you simply enter the values for each account segment, and Chart Generator creates all of the possible combinations of segments, saving you hours of data entry time. If you had 4 segments with 10 values in each segment, Chart Generator will generate the 10,000 possible accounts after entering only 40 segment values!

When you need to update your chart of accounts with new accounts, you only need to enter the new account segment values. Chart Generator then searches for accounts that have not already been created and creates them for you. By using string masks to generate the account descriptions and aliases, Chart Generator ensures that your accounts use a consistent naming convention.
